Almost every human on earth desires companionship. This desire is the strongest during the elderly years of our life. Our respite care services ensure temporary relief for caregivers by providing them the time and environment to relax. The purpose of respite care services is to allow caregivers to take a break from their caregiving duties to do the following:
- Spend time with family and friends
- Run errands
- Take time off to relax with the knowledge that another quality caregiver is taking care of the senior/disabled person
Dementia & Alzheimer's Care
A person with dementia may need more time to perform tasks that were once easy. It is important to take time when providing care and allow breaks when necessary. This technique can keep the person from feeling hurried, which may cause anxiety and agitation.
