Job Overview
This position is open to highly motivated, professional, and dependable people who can provide personal care services to seniors & disabled persons in their private home. You will be responsible for providing hands-on assistance in the areas of routine personal care, grooming, bathing, transferring, light housekeeping, medication management, laundry, shopping and errands, companionship, meal prep and assistance with scheduling/coordination of medical appointments.
The ideal Home Care Aide is someone with excellent communication skills, who demonstrates compassion and integrity.
Pre-Requisites
- Highly motivated
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- 2 years of healthcare experience with seniors and or disabled persons
- Reliable transportation
- Good references from previous employment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prepared to complete required trainings within 30 days of hire
